Terms of Use

The Site is owned and/or is operated by or on behalf of Sanofi , an affiliate of the Sanofi Group. The layout and each of the components, including, but not limited to, trademarks, logos and domain names, appearing on the Site , are protected by applicable laws on intellectual property, and belong to Sanofi or its affiliates, or their use is the subject of authorisation from third party.

No component of the Site may be copied, reproduced, altered, edited, downloaded, denatured, transmitted or distributed in any way whatsoever, on any medium whatsoever, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of Sanofi, except solely for use for press requirements conditional on compliance with intellectual property rights and any other property rights that are mentioned. Copying for private use is only authorised for your own personal, private, non-commercial use, on your personal computer.

The following statement should appear on any authorised copy of all or part of the content of the Site:

The Site is dedicated to healthcare professionals.

In general, the Site provides medical information and disease related information.

Information, especially financial, published on the Site shall not be considered as an encouragement to invest. It should not under any circumstances be interpreted as prospecting or as a public offering, nor is it an offer to subscribe, buy or swap shares or other securities in Sanofi and/or its affiliates. Sanofi draws your attention to the fact that financial information posted on the Site is regularly updated (if financial information is provided online).

The Site may offer opinions by experts consulted in a particular field in relation to the content of the Site or excerpts from press articles. Said information is published on the Site for informational purposes only and is no substitute for the advice of your physician or pharmacist. The information should not be used under any circumstances to make a medical diagnosis of an illness or physical problem, or for prescribing or using any treatment or pharmaceutical products presented on the Site. The Site is not intended to be used to report health concerns, adverse events or product technical complaints.

The purpose of the Site is to provide information to HCPs only. In order to gain access to the content of the Site and related services contained within the Site, you must be a HCP and you will be required to register for an account on the Site. You will only be permitted access once you have agreed to our terms and conditions of use set out herein and registered for an account, and an email confirmation of your registration together with your account details including unique identification and password have been received by you at the email address that you have provided.

Your registered account is for your exclusive use. You must not share, disclose, disseminate and/or otherwise allow access or use of your  account details including unique identification and password to any other person. You are responsible for any activity on the Site arising out of any failure to restrict access to your account details including unique identification and password, and may be held responsible for any losses arising out of such a failure.

You must notify Sanofi immediately if you become aware of any such unauthorised access or use of your  account details including unique identification and password. You must not use anyone else’s account. Sanofi will not be responsible if you suffer any harm or loss because you do not keep your account details including unique identification and password strictly confidential, if you let someone else use your account, if you use someone else’s password or account, or if you become aware of or suspect unauthorized use of your account details including unique identification and password but do not notify Sanofi promptly, and such unauthorized access permits Sanofi to seek immediate legal action.

Sanofi may provide links to third party sites. The liability of Sanofi and/or the Sanofi Group shall not be in any way incurred by a third party site that can be accessed via the Site. A third party link does not imply a recommendation or endorsement. Sanofi does not have any way of controlling the content of such third party sites which remain entirely independent of Sanofi. Moreover, the existence of a link between the Site and a third party site does not under any circumstances mean that Sanofi approves the content of that site in any way whatsoever and in particular the use that may be made of it.

Consequently, and except for personal data mentioned in the Personal Data Protection Notice, any information, whatever its form - document, data, graphic, question, suggestion, concept, comment or other - that you send to us via the Site, will not under any circumstances be deemed confidential. Consequently, the act of sending it to us alone gives us the right to use it, reproduce it, publish it, alter it or send it with a view to dealing with your request.

Sanofi strives to ensure that information published on the Site is accurate and up-to-date. It reserves the right to change the content of the Site at any time, without prior notice. However, Sanofi cannot guarantee that the information available on the Site is accurate, correct, up-to-date or complete.

In so far as is permitted by applicable law, Sanofi disclaims any liability for any damages or loss, for any reason, of any origin, nature or with any consequences whatsoever, including without limitation liability:

By using the Site, you hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sanofi and its officers, directors, employees, and agents for, from and against any claim, suit, proceedings, loss, liability, damage, cost and expense (including, without limitation, costs of investigation and reasonable legal fees), directly or indirectly relating to, resulting from or arising out of: (a) any breach of these terms and conditions; (b) any negligent act or omission or willful misconduct by you in connection with your use of the Site; and (c) any violation of applicable laws.

The Site and its content are governed by the Laws of Malaysia, and any disputes relating thereto are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
